CONGRATULATIONS to Dave & Teresa Myers, winners of our Fire Pit Liquor Raffle! This was our raffle item for our Ghost in the Post Halloween Party this year.
The raffle is open to the public, you don’t have to be present to win. Dave and Teresa were out of state when they received the phone call.
Dave is a long time member of Post 135.

One of our outreach projects for our veterans is volunteering at the Savannah VA Clinic, passing out snacks and sweet treats at the coffee cart. We usually attend on a weekly basis. The veterans always enjoy the treats and conversation.

Enjoying a day celebrating our veterans, beginning with the parade and ending with a lunch in the Ballroom. The lunch is open to the public, hosted by Walmart. This year is the 10th year they have provided lunch. In appreciation for all they continue to do, American Legion Post 135, presented the Walmart volunteers with a couple plaques.

Of course no event like this in Savannah is ever complete without the bagpipes showing up.

The ballroom is set up and ready for the annual Veterans Day lunch after the parade.

American Legion Post 135 - Georgia in partnership with Walmart provides a free lunch, after the parade. This is open to the public and always a huge success.

When you give towards our POPPY FUND, 100% of that money goes to supporting our veterans.

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 135 members attended a Leadership Training workshop today, hosted at in Thunderbolt. Thank you to all the The American Legion Department of Georgia Leadership for traveling across the state, to take time to do this training class. We truly appreciate you volunteering your weekend for us. We look forward to seeing everyone at future events like this!
