We had a great time at the American Legion J.E. Lanier Post 27 Bangles & Boots event!

This annual event raises critical funds to support programs and services for local veterans and their families, a mission we’re proud to support.

And we can’t forget the amazing looks! Each year, the team at Post 27 brings a creative theme to life, inspiring outfits styled with Goodwill finds. We loved seeing the creativity on display, all while coming together for such a meaningful cause.

The American Legion J.E. Lanier Post 27 hosted their third annual “Boots and Buckles” Fundraiser at the Fort McAllister Park Family Group Shelter this past Saturday.

Today, we honor Juneteenth—a celebration of freedom, resilience, and progress.

At Goodwill Southeast Georgia, we believe opportunity should be accessible to everyone. Every day, we work to remove barriers and create pathways to employment, education, and economic mobility. In honor of the holiday, our Retail Stores will operate holiday hours, 9 AM - 5 PM.

As we celebrate, we reflect on how far we’ve come—and the work still ahead. Together, we continue building stronger communities through opportunity.

Moving out of the residence halls is a milestone moment in every college journey and this year, it also made a lasting impact!

We were proud to partner with during Campus Move Out to give gently used items a second life instead of sending them to local landfills.

Thanks to the generosity of Georgia Southern students, an incredible 38,400 pounds of items were donated, which support Goodwill’s no-cost job training and education programs right here in our community.

Thank you for turning a move-out moment into an opportunity to empower others. 💙
