We absolutely loved her inspiring talk on entertaining, her new book, and her incredible tips for sourcing beautiful pieces. Our January meeting was one for the books! 🌱✨

We had the absolute privilege of hosting Chelsea Dye, who blew us away with her knowledge on superfoods and modern wellness. We all walked away feeling inspired—and lucky enough to take home her “Game of Wellness” cards, which are packed with invaluable daily reminders.

On December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm, GA0520P - Seeds and Weeds Garden Club will be helping Bonaventure Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Dear Members,
The Seeds & Weeds Garden Club has been honored by being chosen as a Sponsorship Group for 2025 for Wreaths Across America. 

We have been assigned the Bonaventure Cemetery, Savannah’s most famous cemetery. As an official sponsor, our Garden Club is proud to coordinate the placement of fresh wreaths on the gravesites of veterans there. 

Every wreath is made possible by the generosity of our community. The goal of Wreaths Across America is to place a wreath on every veteran’s grave nationwide, especially at our local cemeteries. You can help by sponsoring a wreath to honor one or more veterans. A wreath sponsorship is $17, with 5 for $85 being the most popular option. 

Wreath orders for the December 13th ceremonies must be placed by December 1st to allow for processing and shipping from Maine to Savannah. See the order forms attached (in the link above). Our club will receive $5.00 per wreath as a fundraiser. Please reach out to family and businesses in the area who will want to honor their veterans’ graves with a beautiful fresh wreath for the holiday season. 

Details about the Wreath Ceremony, on Saturday, Dec. 13, will be forthcoming. Volunteers will be needed to lay the wreaths, and this is a wonderful opportunity for students to accumulate community service hours.

We are thrilled to announce our new Community Service Beautification Project in partnership with Savannah Care Center.

Savannah Care Center provides compassionate support to women and men facing unplanned pregnancy decisions. Their free and confidential services include pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, counseling, and essential supplies for parents and babies.
These photos are from our first few service days with a small group of volunteers. We’ll be scheduling additional dates in the spring, so stay tuned for more opportunities to participate.

Also, keep an eye out for details on our upcoming Holiday Boutique Bazaar and other ways to get involved!

🌸 Seeds & Weeds Garden Club 🌿

A huge thank you to Cynthia Turner and Savannah’s Secret Garden for an amazing session at the nursery! 🌼

Cynthia shared her expertise on plants that attract butterflies and how to create inviting garden spaces for them. We loved learning about the different butterfly species in our region, what to look for when attracting them, and how to make butterfly baths. She even provided sample garden plans to help us get started! 🦋

We had such a wonderful time and can’t wait to return to shop and explore more. Don’t miss their Holiday Open House in November — it’s the perfect time to visit this beautiful nursery! 🌿🎄Savannah's Secret Gardens
