Hey All!

SpokeModels will be riding its collective bike off into the sunset this month. After over a year of amazing events (where we got to know you!) we've decided to merge into the ranks of the Savannah Bicycle Campaign. This partnership will allow us to bring bigger and better events to the city of Savannah and our bicycling community. Don't worry — everything you've come to love from SpokeModels will be making the move with us, from Cyclofemme rides in May to the Tweed Ride in February. Stay tuned for more details on upcoming Mechanic's Nights at the Savannah Bicycle Campaign's new headquarters, a Year of the Local Scavenger Hunt in August and a Seersucker Ride this September!

We've had a blast this past year, but it's time to move on and up! Don't forget to follow the Savannah Bicycle Campaign on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and sign up for their email newsletter at http://bicyclecampaign.org and get geared up for bicycling events in Savannah!

National Bike Challenge updates! Are you riding for and the Savannah Bicycle Campaign? Register today at nationalbikechallenge.org!

Time for National Bike Challenge updates:

In 16 days, 777 Georgians have ridden 48.5k miles & burned 2.6 million calories. A quarter of those rides were for transportation!
In the statewide challenge, the team from Milledgeville has a solid lead, followed by Albany's Pecan City Pedalers. Camden County cyclists are making a strong bid for the top though! Michael C. of Woodbine is the current male points leader, while Susan M. of Milledgeville is on top of the women's leaderboard. Great to see the energy and enthusiasm brought out by the Challenge.
