What filled your summertime this year? Ours was full of seeing healing first hand, watching relationships blossom, and enjoying the beauty of creation in the outdoors.



Hope Family Camp was a soaring success this summer! Kids and caregivers both gathered to learn, heal, grow and have fun. Between fish on the lines, s’mores, hiking, dogs, games, art, silly string, and more, campers had lots of fun.

What is Fostering Family Ministries? Fostering Family Ministries was founded in 2016 in response to the desperate need for foster homes in Ashland County, Ohio. The goal was a partnership of churches working to fill the need for foster families and support. As the need was met, the work spread to surrounding counties. The Church continues to say yes and demonstrates true faith by taking care of the fatherless. Everyone can help vulnerable children become known as beloved sons and daughters through the ministry of the local church.

FFM celebrates 10 years of ministry this year. After starting in Ashland county, FFM is now is in over 10 counties in Ohio and is continuing to grow. We are excited to have you journey along with us as we continue to see the Lord powerfully working in foster care ministry. We are thankful for God's amazing grace and faithfulness as we see His redeeming power at work.

Did you know that one hour a week can make a huge difference in a foster child's life?

Foster youth need care, tutoring, transportation, and to have fun in a safe space! Foster parents do best with a loving Care Team of wrap around support.

By joining a Care Team, you can share 1 hour a week and bring a meal, drive a child to sports or music practice, help tutor a child, fold a load of laundry, help with lawn care, fix something, or something else!

About 1/2 of foster parents quit fostering within the first year or after their first placement, but with a wrap-around support team, 90% of parents continue fostering.

Shout out to Centerburg Church of Christ and their foster closet!

They are in the process of collecting items. They have some cribs, beds, clothes, car seats, diapers and are working on school supplies.
