A special thank you to the Women's Auxiliary from the Ashland Camp of the Gideons International for your prayers and support! They prayed over EVERY seat for this year's Made for Home Banquet which was for the needs of vulnerable children and families in foster care. Shout out to: Melody Barnes (left), Becky Abel (center), and Amy Keller (right) for their service!

We are so excited to host Harold Song at Made for Home this year! He wanted to give back to the community through sharing his piano skills. Come enjoy a beautiful evening of music, celebration of what the Lord is doing in foster care ministry, and hear a powerful testimony from Jamie Finn.

Harold's Bio:
My name is Hanyu Song, though I go by Harold. I’m a high‑school sophomore with nine years of piano study and a deep love for performing. I’ve been fortunate to experience moments that shaped both my musicianship and my life as a whole, from playing at Carnegie Hall after winning an American Protégé competition, to receiving the Ashland Symphony Orchestra Scholarship twice, to earning consecutive Rating I scores in Class A Solo & Ensemble, even playing a personal recital with my church's support and just recently, playing a piano concerto with a professional string quartet at Benson Hall at Bethel University in Minneapolis.

In school, I stay deeply involved in music, and I’m grateful for how much my school has supported my growth as a musician. I accompany our choir, play piano in our orchestra, and perform as a percussionist in both the marching band and concert band. My directors have given me opportunities that pushed me to improve and helped me discover the joy of making music with others. Their encouragement has shaped me into a more versatile musician and reminded me how powerful a supportive community can be.

Music enriches my life by letting me step into the emotions that composers pour into their work: their pain, their love, their excitement, their joy. When I play, I feel as though I’m immersed in someone else’s heart, experiencing the moments that shaped them. I hope to share all the beauty and emotional depth of music with my school and community through my performance.
