Today, the Sisters of Jamillah Princess Chapter #185 enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of fellowship during our Brunch & Small Gift Exchange. There was laughter, meaningful conversation, thoughtful gifts, and most importantly, an opportunity to simply enjoy one another and strengthen the bonds of Sisterhood.

A special thank you to Sister Dr. Onesha L. Richards for leading such a meaningful activity and reminding us of the importance of pouring into ourselves while also uplifting others. She reminded us of Psalm 139:14 “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” What a beautiful reminder that every woman should recognize her own worth while encouraging another woman to recognize hers. ✨

Our time together was also a reflection of our Supreme Grand Matron’s theme, “Lift As We Rise.” We believe there is room for all of us to grow, shine, lead, and succeed and as we rise, we have a responsibility to reach back and help another Sister rise too.

This is what Sisterhood looks like at Jamillah Princess Chapter #185: fellowship, encouragement, personal growth, leadership, service, and women genuinely supporting women.

We are continuing to build something beautiful, one Sister at a time.

Jamillah Princess Chapter No. 185 would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended and supported our Unity Brunch. Your presence helped make this event a beautiful success.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our guest speaker, Sister Dr. Estella Shabazz, for her inspiring message on unity, working as one, and moving forward together with purpose.

We also give special thanks to Sister Ciara Williams for chairing and putting on an excellent event. Your hard work, planning, and dedication did not go unnoticed.

Some of the proceeds will help support teachers in the Savannah, GA area with school supplies for the upcoming school year.

This elegant and uplifting brunch will be a morning of faith, fellowship, encouragement, and unity, featuring our guest speaker, Dr. Estella Shabazz, Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Savannah.

Some of the proceeds from this event will go toward helping teachers in the Savannah, Georgia area purchase school supplies for the upcoming school year. Your support will not only help us promote unity, but also allow us to pour back into the educators who pour into our children every day.
