Savannah Folk Music Society

Savannah Folk Music Society ALL-VOLUNTEER, non-profit organization providing fun experiences in/with traditional music and dance. It crosses lines of age, gender, politics, and religion.

We work to build community enjoyment through the expression of live, acoustic music. Some folks enjoy by sitting and listening, some by dancing (contras and squares), some by singing and playing an instrument. Live performances of music bring mood, message, memories, and camaraderie. Whether a concert or a dance, It's all aimed at having fun. We provide monthly (First Friday) events featuring loca
