Thank you everyone that called to get this situation resolved. Over the next few weeks there will be a lot of action taken to control the roaming dogs and the strays. So again if you let your dogs roam please keep them fenced. They are trapping dogs and getting this situation sorted

The local animal control department has decided that our area is no longer of importance. They haven’t picked up or  dealt with the hoard of stray dogs in our area for months even after repeated calls and complaints. Please help by calling the Mayor! Our area is just as important as anywhere else and this needs to be handled ASAP. They are killing chickens and damaging property. So be vigilant on protecting and securing your property while this dog situation persists. And if you are one of the people allowing your dogs to roam you are absolutely part of the problem.

Please forgive the long post! We are doing a soft launch next week. Monday, December 25th (yes , Christmas Day)-Friday, December 29th. The hours will be 11 AM-2 PM. We will have food available for anyone in need that stops by on those days!

We need volunteers to help us set up and organize all the donations we have. We will be moving things from our Eureka Street office to Harbert Drive. We need trucks and trailers if any are available. (coats, lots of clothing, shoes etc.) As you all know we sell nothing donated to us. It is given to us, and we give back to those in need. Over the past year we have assisted over 10,000 individuals/families with free clothing, household items, food and emergency hotel assistance. This is shared humbly, and we are thankful we could!

If anyone has a nice rocking chair, they are willing to donate please let us know. We want to set up a private area for nursing mothers.

Voices Of Savannah,TN is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. We receive no County, City or Federal grant money as of this post and date. We are a self-sustaining organization. Now, we have received support from a few local churches and other organizations. We have no salaries. We are a 100% volunteer organization. I share this because some think we receive funds for the WARMING STATION and that is not correct information. Many of our volunteers donate financially monthly because we believe in local missions and this community! If you are a business owner or individual who would like to contribute before the 2023 tax year ends you are welcome to do so. If any local restaurant or bakery owner would like to donate food or sweet treats, please let us know.
