The Savannah Baptist Center The Savannah Baptist Center exists to bring glory to God by bringing churches, groups, and individuals together to meet the needs of our community.

A variety of volunteer-led ministries which include: food pantry, clothing and hygiene closet, homeless ministries, senior adult programs, and the Oasis - which ministers primarily to the homeless community providing showers, laundry and day locker storage. We are always seeking dedicated volunteers!

🙏 We Could Use Your Help! 🙏

We’re currently in need of men’s shoes and pants, especially pants in smaller waist sizes like 30, 32, and 34. If you have gently used items taking up space in your closet, we would be grateful to put them to good use serving our community!

Our food pantry is also running low on canned soup and canned vegetables. 🥫

Every donation, big or small, helps us meet the needs of our neighbors. Thank you for continuing to support the work we do at the Savannah Baptist Center! ❤️

Our food pantry shelves need your help!

Last month, the Savannah Baptist Center distributed 338 bags of groceries to individuals and families in need throughout our community. Because of your generosity, we are able to continue serving our neighbors with dignity and compassion.

Right now, we are running very low on some staple items including:
*Canned Vegetables
*Canned Soup
*Baked Beans
*Jelly
*1 lb. Bags of Rice
*Pasta Sauce
*Chili
*Canned Meat/Fish
*Peanut Butter
*Canned Fruit

If you're able to help, donations can be dropped off at the Savannah Baptist Center Mondays-Thursdays 9:30am-2:30pm.

Every can, every box, and every bag makes a difference. Thank you for helping us care for our neighbors and share Christ's love in practical ways.

🌿🌧️ We wrapped up our Rainforest Falls Kids Camp at the Savannah Baptist Center today!

What a fun week of learning, laughter, and adventure as we discovered more about the nature of God with some incredible kids. From songs and games to science experiments, snacks, and Scripture, it was a joy to see these kids grow, learn, and have fun together. 💚

A huge thank you to the mission team from Vertical Life Church for returning for the fourth year in a row to lead and serve at Kids Camp! Your dedication, energy, and love for our children make this week possible every year.

🌿🐾 Rainforest Falls Kids Camp has been full of fun, laughter, and adventure at the Savannah Baptist Center! Over the last two days, our campers have been singing and dancing, exploring through fun science experiments, learning God’s Word, playing games, and enjoying delicious snacks along the way. 🌳 🦋

The fun isn’t over yet! We still have two more days of camp, and there’s plenty of time to join the adventure. Kids Camp starts with lunch at 12:30 and ends at 3:30. Come join us for more memories, more smiles, and more fun together! 🌺🐒

Earlier this week, our Sewing Sisters from the Savannah Baptist Center had the joy of blessing moms at The Living Vine with handmade baby essentials and thoughtful gifts. 💙

The bags included beautiful handmade items such as blankets, bibs, and changing pads, along with practical baby supplies like pacifiers and animal loofahs. Each item was created and collected with love to remind these mothers that they are supported and cared for.

The Living Vine’s mission is to protect, provide, and prepare mothers in crisis while empowering them to make successful life choices. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with them and serve these moms and their precious little ones. 💕

We are grateful to have these sweet people from Peace Baptist Church of Whiteville back again this summer!

They blessed us in so many ways—cleaning and organizing ministry spaces, tackling yard work, and lovingly decorating for Kids Camp so everything feels welcoming and fun for our children. Every task was done with care, enthusiasm, and a true servant’s heart.

Earlier this week we had the joy of hosting a celebration for our adult learners at Savannah Baptist Center. It was a sweet time of encouragement, reflection, and gratitude.

We are so proud of every learner who showed up, stayed committed, and worked hard to reach this milestone. Your dedication is inspiring, and your progress is worth celebrating!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible tutors who poured in their time, patience, and knowledge; to the staff at the Center who keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes; and to our board members, supporters and partners who continue to believe in this ministry and make it possible.

The Savannah Baptist Center will be having Vacation Bible School again this year on July 13-16 from 12:30-3:30pm. If you are interested in helping, we will need food items for lunch and snacks. The following information is a complete list of the needed items. Deadline for collection is July 6. Donations may be dropped off at 704 Wheaton Street Monday-Thursday 9am-2:30pm.
