Good morning friends and followers! This is what our canned soup section looks like right now. Can you help? We would greatly appreciate any donations of shelf-stable food but especially soup right now. We are open Monday-Thursday 9:00am-2:30pm to accept donations at 704 Wheaton Street. The Savannah Baptist Center will be having Vacation Bible School again this year on July 13-16 from 12:30-3:30pm. If you are interested in helping, we will need food items for lunch and snacks. The following information is a complete list of the needed items. Deadline for collection is July 6. Donations may be dropped off at 704 Wheaton Street Monday-Thursday 9am-2:30pm. Please call us at 912-232-1033 with any additional questions.

💕Loads of Love 💕will be this Saturday June 6th. Due to summer activities some volunteers are away and there will be no transportation available. Please plan to arrive at the laundromat on your own this month. Apologies for any inconvenience this may bring. We hope to see you there!

So much appreciation for these sweet ladies from Life Church at Ardsley Park. They helped put a BIG dent in sorting clothing donations in both our children’s and adult clothes closets! Thank you so much friends!

We are incredibly grateful to Corteva Agriscience for awarding us a Community Betterment Grant!

Because of their generosity, the food pantry at the Savannah Baptist Center has already been able to provide support, nourishment, and hope to individuals and families in our community. So far, we have used a portion of the grant to purchase items for our food pantry, and we are excited to continue putting these resources to work in meaningful ways.

Partnerships like this make a lasting difference, and we are honored to work alongside organizations that are committed to strengthening communities and caring for those in need.

Big thanks to this group of youth and adults from First Baptist Church of the Islands for coming out and serving with us yesterday! After a quick walk-through of our ministries they packed close to 100 backpacks full of fun summer activities and snacks that will be distributed to families ahead of the summer break. Then they hit the pavement and helped promote Easter services and activities for the Savannah Baptist Center Church.

Our friends at Bull Street Baptist Church were at it again today! We’re so thankful for their continued partnership and support of the Baptist Center. They jumped out into this beautiful weather today and helped us beautify the outside of the Center. Thank you!!
