Today I learned that a roughneck in Oklahoma can make $80,000 in his first year on the job, working just six months. Some of the guys I talked to use that extra time to freelance in other trades. Plumbing, electric, HVAC…the need is there, and the opportunities are endless. It’s not a cakewalk – that’s for sure. The shifts are long, the work is physical, and while I was there, the temperature ranged from 29 degrees and blustery, to 85 and sweaty. But I don’t think the guys at Gore Nitrogen and Red Bluff Resources care. Honestly, I think they kinda like it…

Last week, we took a jobsite tour at the new Port Fuel Center near the Georgia Port Authority off Hwy. 21 & interviewed Kenny Giles, owner of Electrical Solutions of Savannah, who answered lots of our questions on what he does as a Master Electrician!

Through mentoring & scholarships, we help high schoolers explore careers in architecture, engineering, construction + skilled trades

Last week, we took a tour of the Tiny House Project, The Cove at Dundee! Thanks to Cindy Kelley, Exec. Director of Chatham Savannah Authority for Homeless for such an informative tour of the existing + future homes! 🏡

Meet the amazing Daniel Mai, a Recruiter at LS3P Associates!

While studying abroad, I had the opportunity to participate in a design charrette with architectural students from France. We communicated solely by sketching and building physical models. It was an experience that was transformative in the way I communicate and collaborate with others.

3. FUN FACTS❓

I have a lifelong goal to visit all of the US National Parks. I have an affinity for the outdoors and conservation. I love to travel and I have been to 38 of the 50 states. I look forward to many more road adventures in the future.
