Perched high above the Mississippi, Havencrest Castle isnโ€™t just a home, itโ€™s a labor of love, a work of art, and a place filled with story. And every May and October, Alan St. George opens its doors, welcoming visitors from near and far to experience something they never expected to find in a small river town.

But his impact goes ๐˜ง๐˜ข๐˜ณ ๐˜ฃ๐˜ฆ๐˜บ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ the castle walls. Alan has quietly shaped pieces of Savanna you see every day, through the sculptures heโ€™s donated along our riverfront and through the jobs heโ€™s created with Facemakers, Inc.. His creativity, ๐’ˆ๐’†๐’๐’†๐’“๐’๐’”๐’Š๐’•๐’š, and vision have left a lasting mark on this community.

Because of him, people are discovering Savanna in a ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฆ๐˜ธ ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜บ. They come for the castle, but they leave talking about the town, our views, our people, our charm.

And maybe thatโ€™s what loving where you live ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ looks likeโ€ฆ not just building something beautiful for yourself, but sharing it with others.

Savanna is better because of Alan, and weโ€™re ๐’๐Ž lucky he calls it home ๐Ÿงก

We are scheduled to participate in the Memorial Day event at Hawg Dogs with the VFW, where we will be operating a lemonade shake-up booth to raise funds for our July 5th festivities. Before we proceed with buying the necessary items for these shake-ups, we were wondering if anyone would be interested in purchasing them for us?
This won't be a one and done booth. We will plan to use these at multiple events. ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿฉต

Saturdayโ€™s Hippity Hoppity Easter Egg Hunt was a huge success, over 30k eggs were ๐ก๐š๐ง๐-๐Ÿ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ for the kids, tons of prizes were donated, baked goods were made, and we had one seriously amazing turnout.

This doesnโ€™t happen without a ๐˜ธ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ญ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ญ๐˜ฐ๐˜ต of people who care deeply about this community, especially one local supermom who started this tradition five years ago, ๐Š๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ž ๐Ÿฉท She pours so much love into this community, and we sure love her right back.

From the volunteers to the donations to everyone who shows up year after year, we canโ€™t do it without ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎโ€ฆ and honestly, we wouldnโ€™t want to ๐Ÿซถ
