Cub Scout Pack 617 - Savage, MD Cub scout pack 617 has been chartered by the Savage Volunteer Fire Department since 1988. you can learn more about the pack at www.pack617.org.

We generally meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the fire station or HC school or park. We have been a Pack since 1988 and have about 60 active scouts in grades K-5. We meet as a Pack once a month on Wednesday evenings at either Bollman Bridge Elementary School or the Savage Volunteer Fire Department. We camp 3-4 times a year and have several major activities such as the Pinewood Derby. We

have many trained leaders in the Pack and pride ourselves as providing a fantastic program for the youth! We are a Family Pack with Dens for boys and girls.

It's time for a Bike Rodeo! This event is open to all families who are considering joining Pack 617 this fall! All boys and girls, grades K-5, are welcome to attend! Current scouts, bring a friend! Also bring your bikes (or scooters or whatever if you don't have a bike), bike helmets, water bottles, and sunscreen to the Bollman Bridge Elementary School parking lots on Saturday, August 13, 2022 (10am-11:30am).

We will be learning about bike safety and participating in some cool bike activities! Top it all off with a popsicle and the Popcorn Sales Kick-Off!

Tomorrow is the Pack 617 Blue and Gold Banquet! Pack 617 will celebrate scouting's birthday and say good luck and happy scouting trails to all the Arrow of Light Scouts as they bridge to their new Scout BSA Troops!
