Troop 424 was chartered by the United Methodist Church of Savage in 1946 and continues to actively serve the youth of the Savage and Laurel area. We are about 35 boys strong and have an active program of meetings, outings, fund raisers, service projects, and summer camp.

Our Story

Troop 424 was chartered by the United Methodist Church of Savage in 1946 and continues to actively serve the youth of the Savage and Laurel area. Starting February 5, 2019, we have programs for both Scouts BSA Boy and Girl Troops. Our Boy Troop is about 35 boys strong and our charter Girls Troop is starting off with 5 Girls. We have an active program of meetings, outings, fund raisers, service projects, summer camps, and high adventure programs including Philmont, Sea Base, and Northern Tier.
