Hi everyone, Happy Solstice!
I have been posting images of our Pilot Houses here at Galilee Harbor which are over 112 years old. They are part of the Issaquah Ferry that was launched in Seattle in 1914. The ferry came to the Bay Area in 1918. She was one of the first ferry's to transport cars. She was retired in the 50's .
We at Galilee are honored to have them at our entrance to our docks.
Many locals and tourists walk by and admire them daily. As a low income community we do our best to preserve their integrity. But now we need a little help from the outside world.
So when you pass them please donate a little. We have made it easy for you to do that. Just use your phone in photo on the Bar code and follow the link. Any amount we appreciate!!

Please donate to our Historical Pilot Houses from the Issaquah Ferry, built in 1914. They are in need of restoration. We at Galilee Harbor

Issaquah Pilot Houses at our entrance. These structures are 102 years old. We are working on getting them registered on the National Historic Maritime site. That way we can raise $$ to keep them restored.
