Celebrating our 2026 scholars!

On June 7, scholars, families, donors, supporters, and board members gathered at the Sausalito Woman’s Club for the 2026 Scholarship Awards Ceremony. The afternoon was filled with pride, gratitude, music, flowers, and moving stories of perseverance, promise, and community support.

This year, thanks to the generosity of our community, the Sausalito Woman’s Club Scholarship Recognition Fund awarded $212,000 in scholarships to 41 scholars and 2 Spaulding Marine Center apprentices.

These awards support students pursuing two-year and four-year degrees, graduate and professional programs, trade pathways, and re-entry education.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this extraordinary 70th year possible — our donors, sponsors, in-kind donors, volunteers, board members, Sausalito Woman’s Club members, and friends of the Scholarship Fund. Your generosity helps students feel seen, encouraged, and empowered as they take the next steps in their education and lives.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to keynote speaker Malachia Hoover, a former SWCSRF scholar and 13-time award recipient, whose full-circle story reminded us of the lasting impact of community support.

Congratulations to our 2026 scholars — we are so proud to celebrate you!
