Join us at 8:20 AM for coffee, breakfast, and student performances at 8:40 AM — visit the RiseUp! tables (upper lot & by MPR) for fun giveaways for kids and easy ways to donate - RiseUp is grateful for cash, venmo, checks, and online donations!

Your support provides our kids with amazing experiences — music, art, garden, field trips, Dream Team Events, and outdoor adventures like Mosaic, Walker Creek, and NatureBridge programs!

Happy Holidays! Support our school by purchasing your holiday tree or wreath from our local lot at Sausalito Farms! They will donate back to the school $20 per tree and $10 per wreath! Trees are many sizes and the wreaths are beautiful and huge 😄. Be sure to write “MLK ACADEMY” on the donation slip. They are at 300 Locust Street@ Bridgeway (next to Dunphy Park). Free local delivery! Thank you for your support!

Garden Fair Saturday, May 11th to support Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Academy! Come join us in Sausalito on the MLK Nevada St Campus from 10am-2pm for a spring fling! We are thrilled to host a plant sale, bake sale, raffle, along with games, crafts and gardening fun. Whether you have a sweet tooth, a green thumb, or just love to engage in community activities - there’s something for everyone. Bring a picnic, enjoy the outdoors, and contribute to a great cause. We are 1 week away until 94965 Goes Big! held on Friday, February 2nd, from 7-11 pm at the Sausalito Center for the Arts.

Our student art auction will be live at our event on February 2nd from 7-11pm, and student group art will be sent on a separate link for everyone to bid and view later this week online.

MLK GARDEN WORKDAY SUCCESS! A big thank you to everyone who came to help our MLK Garden at the Nevada Campus thrive, as we prepared beds of fruits and vegetables to grow, refurbished the chicken coop, repurposed wood to make new beds, and more! Rise Up! 94965 supports our garden program and we appreciate you, community! A special thank you to Sausalito Beautiful for supporting MLK since you are our inspiration ❤️. And another shout out to Mill Valley Edna Maguire Elementary School and Garden who also participated in this event! Sausalito Beautiful
