We looking for sponsors for our Third Annual Hero's Cup Golf Fundraiser. Last year’s event was bigger than before, and participants greatly appreciated the day of support and recognition from our community. This fundraiser is unique in that it gives sponsors an opportunity to provide local first responders with a free day of golf, while also helping to fund Walmart’s Shop With A Hero event, which supports local children each winter.
Based on feedback from our Heroes, we have made one improvement this year to help more first responders participate. Hero Sponsorships will still cover two Heroes; however, officers will now have the option to bring a guest to join them (with a participation fee paid by the guest). This means your sponsorship not only supports two Heroes but may also be associated with two teams, increasing both player participation and overall enjoyment—all without any increase to sponsorship fees.
Below is a breakdown of the sponsorship options: (Please note: Hero Team sponsorships close on July 10th, allowing us time to coordinate with first responder agencies and fill all sponsored team slots.)

Sponsorship Options
• Single Team – Ideal for two individuals not affiliated with a business or organization who
want to play alongside Sponsored Heroes. Includes lunch.
• Silver Sponsor – For businesses/organizations wishing to enter their own golfers. Includes lunch, hole sponsorship, and mention in event publications.
• Hero Sponsor – Covers two local Heroes to play free of charge (does not include
business-affiliated players). Includes lunch for Heroes, hole sponsorship, business name on the Heroes’ team, and mention in publications.
• Platinum Sponsor – Covers two Hero Teams and two business/organization-affiliated teams. Includes lunch, hole sponsorship, sponsored team photo, recognition as an event partner in publications, inclusion in the event logo, and swag bags.

Preparations are underway for another outstanding event this year. In response to feedback from our Heroes, we have made a significant improvement this year to encourage more first responders to participate. Sponsorships will still cover two Heroes, and officers will now have the option to bring a guest to join them, with the guest covering the participation fee. This development means that sponsorships will not only support two Heroes but may also be linked to two teams, enhancing player participation and overall event satisfaction without any increase in sponsorship fees. After all is said and done we are happy to say that we raised $5000 for Shop With a Hero through the fundraiser. With a local grant that makes for a $6000 donation for the event this year! Thank you everyone that made this event such a success!
