As seen with this photo from C2C listener 'Toody,' game camera images often feature some truly spooky anomalies that are genuinely mystifying. According to Toody, this picture was taken in a forest in the upstate NY town of Bristol. The image is purportedly untouched and has left Toody scratching their head ever since it was taken.

Fun Fact: the "Dybbuk Box" was fabricated by a guy named Kevin Mannis who built it to sell on eBay in the early 2000s. He created a clever back story mixing jewish folklore with the supernatural. It sold and it became so popular that Mannis sold the rights to the story to a Hollywood studio where Sam Raimi produced the film titled "The Possession." The original box (which was a wine box btw) was sold to Zak Bagans, who ran with the fictional story as TRUE for show content. He now displays it in his museum. Today, newer ghost hunting shows and "demonologists" still talk about the dybbuk box and swear by it's authenticity.

Flashback to 2006 when inventor Frank Sumption’s Telephone to the Dead was used in a public setting for the very first time.

The Telephone to the Dead was the forerunner to newer devices that are collectively called “ghost boxes.” These devices are used regularly by paranormal investigators.

The photo was taken at an event that I held in Savannah, GA. Everyone in attendance was both astonished and intrigued by this device.

A couple of years later, Frank Sumption himself gave me one of his devices, telling me that spirit voices coming from the box told him that I should have it.
