North Star HFH ReStore-Soo, Michigan North Star Habitat for Humanity, located in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan has been building homes and hope throughout the Eastern U.P. since 1993.

Our ReStore operation supports our programs from critical repair and brush with kindness to home ownership.

Still doing some fall cleaning and organizing and you have metal or a old hot water heater that you want to get rid of?

Please consider dropping it off to our metal collection container in our yard! It adds up and helps us with our repair projects to home ownership!

We accept metal for recycling through out the year!

We accept all types of metal from old appliances to water heaters to car parts to metal furniture to cans to pans to old BBQ's and bikes, etc. Anything metal.

We accept metal for recycling during business hours of 10am to 4pm, Tuesday through Saturday and our recycling bin is located through the gate into the back yard.

We are located at 400 Sheridan Drive, just west of the Ashmun Street Bridge.
