Please pray for Colombia following the devastating earthquake that struck the western region of the country on August 10. The disaster has claimed hundreds of lives, left many injured, displaced families from their homes, and caused extensive damage across several communities. Rescue teams continue searching for people who remain missing as families await news of their loved ones.

Our team also asks for your prayers for the people and communities affected by the magnitude 6.7 earthquake that struck Peru on August 20. Pray especially for those who were injured, families whose homes and communities were affected, and all those facing uncertainty in the aftermath of the earthquake. Ask the Lord to provide the assistance and resources needed for recovery and to surround those affected with His comfort, strength, and peace during this difficult time.

This morning, a magnitude-7.4 earthquake struck western Colombia, killing more than 100 people so far. We praise God that Nélson Rojas, our National Coordinator, is safe, as are Luis, Coordinator of the Biblical Literacy Program, and Marigel, database administrator for our ministry partner CEPI (Assemblies of God). This is Colombia's largest earthquake in years - please pray for the families who have lost loved ones, for those who are seeking shelter, and for the leaders of the 195+ churches that have been started this year in Colombia.

Yesterday, a deadly earthquake hit Venezuela. It was Venezuela's most powerful earthquake in over a century. More than 900 people were injured and at least 164 are dead. Please join us in praying for Venezuela and our church planters there. We have started over 700 churches in Venezuela!
