It's been a busy summer!
Your local Rotary Club has been bringing in amazing speakers from organizations such as Holy Family School - Sauk Centre, the Little Sauk Legion, and Relay for Life of Western Stearns County.
We've also passed the gavel between two amazing presidents on July 1, from Matt Hoeschen of Minnesota National Bank (2023-2025) to James Macey of Hubbard Broadcasting (2025-2027).
We've continued to host some awesome events! We're still hosting monthly bingo at Riverview Manor, welcoming some assistants from the Community Engagement Ambassador Class of the Sauk Centre Area Chamber of Commerce! These students are also attending Rotary meetings every Tuesday during the summer months. We also served beverages at the Sauk Centre Senior Center Pie & Ice Cream Social during Sinclair Lewis Days!
And, we have a new meeting space! Minnesota National Bank underwent a second-level remodel, and we're now able to utilize their large conference space, optimized for hybrid in-person and video call meetings. We're so grateful.
Lastly, our annual 50/50 Raffle and Par 3 Golf Fundraiser at went off without a hitch last Friday! Thank you to all our participants, donors, and winners, including Mark Winters, who won $5,180 in the raffle!
