17th Annual Christmas For A Senior!

Want this Christmas to feel different? Embrace the true meaning of the season by donating your time or talent to a cause that is close to your heart. If you’re short on both, make a monetary donation.

Christmas For A Senior needs donations, volunteers and nominations. Donations can be dropped off at MN National Bank in Sauk Centre or mailed to our office at 418 10th St So Sauk Centre, MN 56378. Checks should be made out to Christmas For A Senior.

We'd like to thank all donors and volunteers that contributed to success of the 2024 Christmas For A Senior campaign! Thanks for the gifts of your time, talent and treasure. Because of your efforts we warmed the hearts of 87 local individuals. We were also able to make eight $1000 donations to local facilities for use in their activities departments! A very special thanks to Americinn of Sauk Centre for their generous donation!

Christmas For A Senior would like to send a special thank you and recognition to John Wiese Ford in Sauk Centre. Over the past few years, they've been a generous supporter of our efforts. Thanks to them and many other donors, Christmas For A Senior continues to touch the lives of hundreds of seniors in our communities each Christmas season.

It's not too late to nominate someone to receive a gift from Christmas For A Senior. If you know someone who lives in the Sauk Centre, Melrose, Albany, Glenwood, Grey Eagle, BBE or Long Prairie areas that would benefit from a gift and/or visit, please get nominations in by Friday December 8th.

Because of generous donations over the past fourteen years, we’ve been able to provide gifts to 1110 seniors, deliver personal care products and goodie bags for local nursing home residents, contribute to their activity funds and purchase haircuts for each resident of three local assisted living facilities.

We are asking for your help to reach senior citizens in our communities this holiday season. HELP!!!! Volunteers needed to shop wrap and deliver gifts for Christmas For A Senior 2023. Shopping and wrapping will take place the week of December 11th - 15th in Sauk Centre. Delivery will be the following week December 17th - 23rd. These are great individual or family activities.

Shopping is done as a group, It's made easy by purchasing gifts off a nomination sheet. Wrapping takes place at Alternative Senior Care's Sauk Centre office during business hours.

For delivery, come pick up as many gifts as you'd like to deliver in the area you prefer. Drop them off anytime that week on your schedule.
