The Ranch - Teammates for Life A non-profit supporting former Athletes, Military Veterans, First Responders & their Families who face mental health challenges .

This organization was founded by former NHL players to support those who struggle with mental health.

Tomorrow night, hockey and mental health share the same rink. 🏒💙

We’re proud to support the Minnesota Wild premiere of Shattered Ice, presented with Sophie's Squad at Grand Casino Arena. It’s a coming-of-age drama about a high school hockey player working through adolescence, friendship, and the loss of his best friend to su***de.

At The Ranch, we believe being a teammate doesn’t stop when the game ends. This film opens the door to conversations young athletes need, and a panel discussion follows the screening.

🎟️ Tickets are just $5, and 100% of proceeds go to Sophie’s Squad and their work in mental health awareness and su***de prevention.

Healing takes a whole team. Through our partnership with Eagle's Healing Nest, The Ranch offers all-star support for hockey players and others living with mental illness and trauma-related injuries.

Services include group and individual therapy, AA/NA, PTSD support, art and animal interaction therapy, outdoor retreats, physical therapy, Bible studies, and a music studio. 🏒⭐

Mark Pavelich made the plays that made history possible.

In 1980, "Pav" set up the game-winning goal against the Soviet Union in the Miracle on Ice. Off the ice, his teammates remember a quiet, gentle man who loved the woods, fishing, and playing Neil Young on the team bus.

Later in life, Mark carried struggles many never saw. Before he passed, he shared a vision: a place where athletes, veterans, and first responders could heal together. That vision is The Ranch.

Every person who finds hope here is part of Mark's legacy. We carry it forward, as teammates for life. 💙'

Mark Pavelich made the plays that made the Miracle happen. Off the ice, he fought battles most people never saw. Before we lost him, Pav dreamed of a place where people who are struggling could heal together.

Each one was someone's teammate, parent, child, or friend. Our founder Mark Pavelich was one of them. We carry his name because we refuse to let that number be the end of the story.

Stigma, cost, and silence keep too many people on the bench. At The Ranch, hockey players, veterans, first responders, and their families find counseling, community, and time to heal, surrounded by people who understand.
