Congrats to our Bantam 1 team for taking home an A South National VHL Hockey championship on Saturday in an excellent 3-0 win over North Central. Jenna Lennon earned the shutout in net and Josh Resnick led the way with a 2-goal game along with a score by Edgar Louis. Congrats to all the players, coaches and families on a great season! 🏆

Congrats to our Peewee 1 team for taking home a AAA North American VHL Hockey championship on Saturday in an epic 3-2 shootout win over Wellesley. Finn Haggerty scored the game-winner in the shootout & goalie Andrew Polnarev shut out all five Wellesley shooters. Also scoring was Max Hickey, and Luka Kaese with a clutch game-tying goal in the third period that sent things to overtime & the shootout. Congrats to all the players, coaches and families on a great season! 🏆

Congrats to our Peewee 1 and Bantam 1 teams for advancing to VHL Hockey championship weekend next Saturday. And a massive thanks to all of our families, coaches, volunteers and players for another successful Newton Youth Hockey season. None of it is possible without you!

Happy New Year! Don’t forget about our NYH Holiday Skate tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 1030 am at Warrior Ice Arena. It’s totally free & friends and family are all invited to come skate with us. Congrats to our NYH Sq**rt 3 team for winning the 47th Annual AHC Winter Classic tournament on Monday afternoon. It was a thrilling 2-1 OT win with Wes Pirro scoring the game-winner in the championship game over the host Arlington team in the Sq**rt “A” Division. Great job everybody! VHL Hockey
