This is not ok. There is way to much of this going on, especially with our youth. Talk to your kids. Let them know it is ok to ASK4HLP. It starts with us as parents talking to them so they know what to do if them or someone else needs help.

This hurts us to read this morning. Hopefully something can be done to fix this. Hope Squad is an amazing program that brings peer to peer su***de prevention to schools. They say this looks like it was a typo and not on purpose. If that is the case let’s hope it can be fixed and re looked at.

"WE WERE SHOCKED": Hope Squad and the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence will not receive state funding this year.

Gov. Tate Reeves cut $1.5 million in funds from the attorney general’s budget. The line items include $500,000 for the Hope Squad program, $800,000 for the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence.

Not only is it hard to write and perform on this topic, she did it as a teen struggling with her own stuff. Khloe you are amazing. I am proud to see something like this being pushed. To many first responders have been lost to su***de. This hits us close to home. My dad Phil Berg was a paramedic for close to 30 years before we loss him to su***de. On top of that my mom, sister, niece and my self have all worked or are working in the EMS field. I support this task force 100 percent.
