The Satanta Area Arts Council will present "Stars, Stripes, and Country Nights" on Saturday, October 24, at the Haskell County Fairgrounds Commercial Building.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served at 6:00 p.m. Catered by the Wagon Wheel, the meal will feature a full fried chicken dinner with all the fixings, followed by fruit cobbler for dessert.

The Richie Dorman Band will take the stage at 7:00 p.m. for an evening filled with country favorites from the 1980s and 1990s. Complimentary beer and wine will be served, and dancing may ensue.

For every animal that gets sent to the packing plant from Cattle Empire we get data back from the plant. These are commonly called "kill figures," and once your cattle have been processed, someone from our team will call to go over the kill figures with you.

If you're looking to make long-term improvements to your herd, these numbers can be very helpful!

REMINDER: Deadline is Sept.25th!
Lets make this a succesful event! If no participants we will have to cancel!
Get signed up and show the community what a good cook you are. All participants must bring their own pots, and be present to serve their own chili. Lets have some yummy tasting fun! Sample tasting from 5pm to 6:30pm Chamber will provide cups and spoons. Winners announced at 7pm.
