TODAY from 10 am - 2 pm at Buffalo Creek Nature Park in Sarver. It's a beautiful day for our free nature and crafts festival - and our bird ambassadors! Enjoy family-friendly activities that celebrate clean waterways and their connections to a healthy environment.
What can you do at the event?
· Visit the H2Oh! On the GO! display
· Nature crafts and games including fish printing (Gyotaku)* (*bring your own cotton white cotton shirt OR make a paper print with us)
· Native Seed Paper Making
· Electrofishing demonstration at 1PM (a non-lethal way to survey for fish)
· Food and drinks for sale, starting at 11AM
Onsite Vendors/Partners for the day:
· Armstrong County Conservation
· Butler-Freeport Community Trail
· Duquesne University
· PA Master Naturalists, Armstrong County
· Trout Unlimited Arrowhead Chapter

TOMORROW (Thursday) night at Buffalo Creek Nature Park in Sarver - Celebrate Moth Week with us! Did you know that Pennsylvania is home to over 600 species of moths ranging from inconspicuous micro-moths to large silk moths? Join Audubon for a night of black lighting that begins with a short presentation the moves outside to test various lighting techniques to attract moths. This event is intended for adults and children 10 or older, who must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
