🐾THE MILK MAN, A BARN COLONY, AND ONE VERY LUCKY LITTLE KIT🐾
Sometimes help finds you in the most unexpected places - This little unnamed babe was found in a barn colony by a local milk truck driver who noticed she was suffering from a horrible eye infection. Her eye is in such bad shape that she is at risk of ultimately losing it - & this Good Sam knew she needed help.
So - while he was still on the job - he reached out to us, desperate to get this tiny girl the care she needed. We met up with him along his milk route, & together we made sure this little nugget safely made her way into rescue.
At just a guesstimated four weeks old - she is incredibly tiny, vulnerable, & far too young to be facing something this scary.🥺
But she's here now! And we are SO thankful the milk man 🥛 chose to stop - notice her, & make that call.
Unfortunately - this little one came into our care unexpectedly, & now we're asking our PTR family to help us raise funds for her immediate veterinary care.
We don't know yet what the outcome will be for her eye. She may ultimately lose it and require surgery. But one step at a time - Right now, our priority is getting her initial veterinary exam, having the eye properly stained to assess the extent of the damage, & getting her on the medications she needs to help her feel better and keep her healthy and comfortable. ❤️🩹
OUR INITIAL GOAL: $200
That $200 will help cover:
🐾 Her veterinary examination
🐾 Eye staining
🐾 Necessary medications
🐾 Keeping this tiny girl comfortable while we figure out what's next!
Can you help us reach her $200 goal? 🙏🏼
