What an incredible day at our 2026 Young Authors & Young Artists (YAYA) Conference! 🎨📚✨

Students from across central Minnesota came together to learn, create, explore, and be inspired through hands-on sessions led by talented presenters, authors, artists, and performers. The energy, creativity, and excitement throughout the day made this year’s conference truly special.

Minnesota’s brightest young spellers are headed to the Scripps National Spelling Bee! 🐝

What an incredible accomplishment to advance to the national stage after months of hard work and competition. We’re excited to see these students represent Minnesota and showcase their skills alongside top spellers from across the country. Congratulations and best wishes on this amazing journey! ✨

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting 80 educators from across central Minnesota for a day of learning, collaboration, and connection focused on implementing the 2022 Minnesota Math Standards.

From engaging math tasks and instructional practices to meaningful networking and shared learning, it was inspiring to see educators from across the region come together to strengthen math instruction for students.

We’re proud to support innovative career and technical education experiences like this one through grant funding that helps connect students with industry professionals and hands-on learning opportunities. A big shoutout to Murphy Chevrolet for spending time with students in the auto shop and helping bring automotive careers to life through real-world problem-solving and technical skills.

Last night’s Community Action Poverty Simulation gave participants the opportunity to step into the realities many families face every day—building empathy, awareness, and a deeper understanding of the complex challenges connected to poverty.
