SEEKING COMMUNITY HELP for our Service members and their families who are not getting paid during the shutdown. If you are interested in donating to help with specific bills (requests that we are receiving), we have started to put donations into a line-item w/n our 501c3 budget. This will help us provide assistance immediately and keep track for reporting purposes.

With the help of Stand Down and others for food, and a company is looking at donating gas cards (TBD Monday), we want to be able to assist with any immediate bills during the time when several Service members are not currently getting paid, and others that have been getting paid, will no longer be at the end of the month if the shutdown continues.

If you are interested in assisting, you can:

Mailing donations to W2C:
113, 2nd Street South, P.O. Box 113, Sartell 56377

or

Email: [email protected] to arrange for picking up the donation

Thank you for thinking about this emergency request.

We invite you to take a few minutes to complete a brief survey being conducted by Wilder Research in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA). Your input will help shape the future of su***de prevention efforts across Minnesota. This survey is focused on the experiences and perspectives of Service Members, Veterans, and their Families (SMVF). Your voice is essential in helping us understand what’s working and what needs to improve to better support our community.

This survey is part of a statewide assessment to better understand what’s working and what can be improved, when it comes to supporting the mental health and well-being of our Service Members, Veterans, and their Families.

Please consider sharing this email with your networks. The more voices we hear, the stronger and more responsive our programs can become.

Your responses are confidential and will directly inform recommendations to the Minnesota Legislature and MDVA. The survey takes just a few minutes, and your voice can make a real difference.

Thank you for your service and for helping us build a stronger, more responsive support system for all who have served and their families.
