🎥 THIS SATURDAY🍿 Join us for this FREE special film premiere coming to the Platte Valley Community Center in Saratoga!

In 2022, French filmmaker Maria Reggiani and cinematographer Ned Burgess traveled from Paris to Encampment, Wyoming, inspired by the historic photographs of Lora Webb Nichols.

Three years in the making, their documentary, Rocky Mountain Studio, brings Nichols’ early 20th-century portraits of Encampment residents together with those of the people who call the community home today, connecting the Platte Valley’s past and present through the lens of photography and film.

Join us Saturday, October 24, at 6 p.m. for a special premiere screening of Rocky Mountain Studio at the Platte Valley Community Center in Saratoga.

Reggiani and Burgess will be in attendance to welcome guests and share their film with the community that inspired it.

Don’t miss this special evening celebrating the valley’s history, people, and stories!
