The First California ACDA State Conference is coming up FAST! This exciting conference for choral music educators will be held the first 3 days of the 4-day California All-State Music Education Conference (CASMEC), February 11-13 in San Jose.

In addition to the All-State Choirs, the following choirs will perform:

• American River College Vocal Jazz Ensemble
• Clark Intermediate Sotto Voce
• Clovis East High School Women's Chorale
• Fisher Middle School Women's Choir
• Fountain Valley High School Troubadours
• Fullerton College Concert Choir
• Riverside City College Chamber Singers
• San Jose State University Concert Choir and Choraliers
• The Choral Project
• Santa Susana High School Abbe Road A Ca****la
• Serra High School Men's Chorus
• University of Redlands Chapel Singers
• Young Women's Chorus of San Francisco

Fifteen interest sessions will be presented by some of California's finest choral and vocal educators, many of whom will provide related music packets courtesy of JW Pepper of San Francisco. Dr. Elizabeth Schauer will lead future choral music educators in the Choral Leadership Academy.

The deadline to register is February 8. CMEA is hosting registration for ACDA members this year, so just provide your ACDA membership number to register. There are also valuable sessions and concerts in the band, orchestra, and general music areas.
