Mt. Eden Vaulting Club

Mt. Eden Vaulting Club Mt Eden Vaulting Club is one of the oldest equestrian vaulting clubs in the USA.

We are located at Garrod Farms (Saratoga, CA), which has hosted nonprofit equestrian vaulting since 1970! Our roots trace back to 1970, when Jane Garrod started the Garrod Farms Vaulters after spotting equestrian vaulting--dance and gymnastics on a walking, trotting or cantering horse-- at Camp Kennolyn in Santa Cruz. The Mount Eden Vaulting Club (MEVC), as we know it today, was formed nine years

later when the Garrod Farms Vaulters and the Chez Sherf Hi-Tailers combined forces. Today MEVC is the oldest and arguably the most successful vaulting organization in America, and the home club to world champions and newbies, boys and girls, "littles" and adults alike.

Just a reminder that Mount Eden Vaulting Club will be offering FREE Vaulting Trial Classes during the first two weekends in August.

Whether you've been curious about vaulting, have a child interested in horses, or know someone who may enjoy trying a new sport, we'd love to have you join us. Current vaulters, former members, friends, siblings, and first-time participants are all welcome!

Free Trial Schedule

Saturdays

August 1 & August 8
12:30–2:00 PM
Sundays

August 2 & August 9
9:30–11:00 AM
These sessions are a great opportunity to experience vaulting, meet our coaches and athletes, and learn more about our recreation and competitive programs before our fall season begins.
