We are a non-profit organization located in Saratoga county of upstate New York. Our commitment is to provide emergency relief, shelter, care and rehabilitation for abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted horses. Every year thousands of beautiful and intelligent horses, who have been purposefully bred, sold at high prices, worked hard to bring pleasure and profit to people, come to the end of th
eir racing careers. They still have a few decades to live but are no longer given that chance. They end up at live stock auctions and packed into trucks bound for slaughterhouses in Canada and Mexico to become meat for export to Europe. We want to save these retiring racers and other unwanted or abused horses and give them well-needed rest and loving care. After thorough evaluation and rehabilitation, horses will be placed with qualified adopters to begin their chance at a second career.
