Why would you have a problem with the government running health care and not a problem with for-profit health care? I think my government should absolutely compete against private businesses in all aspects of manufacture and production. If, as they say, government can't do anything right", what does private industry have to worry about with the people's competition? As far as the people are concerned we have everything to gain from this idea. We would gain construction and manufacturing and many other jobs. We could source resources from our own country. THIS would be a solid tangible path to the social reforms our American society needs to pursue. Plus, we could run the for-profiteers out of business maybe. It's time for you and I to start thinking outside the American form of democracy box because that box has obviously become a trap 99% of us have fallen into, here in, "the wealthiest country in the world".
