Savoy Diamond Dance The northeast's largest monthly swing dance regularly featuring big bands.

The Diamond Dances occur every third Friday of the month, unless otherwise stated, from 7:30-11:00pm at the historic and very large Saratoga Music Hall located on Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY. At the Diamond Dance you can enjoy hours of live music performed by some of the best local and nationally known musicians, dance demonstrations, DJ'd music between sets, art exhibits, discounts on dance le

ssons, the elegance of the historic Saratoga Music Hall, free food and a free beginner dance lesson at 7:30pm. All of this for only $15 (note: price may vary to reflect band costs or charitable donations.)

For the first time since the fire, we will return to the Saratoga Music Hall! In a collaboration with the Dance Flurry and Saratoga First Night, we will be teaching a Lindy hop lesson and have a killer swing band in the restored Saratoga Music Hall on New Years Eve.

It has come to my attention that my friend Skip Parsons passed away. Many may not know, but Skip was one of the big three bands that helped make the diamond dance a reality. They worked with us to bring authentic swing and jazz for dancing when we first started. Although we do not have it video, they played the diamond dance in June, 2003. http://www.saratogasavoy.com/pictures03julyaugust.html
