SHYFT Exploring the "Act" in "Activism," SHYFT seeks opportunities for young artists to use their developing artistic talents as a vehicle for Social Change.

SHYFT (Saratoga's Humanitarian Youth for Transformation) is a troupe of high school and young adult actors, writers, musicians, and dancers who have been working together over a couple of years under Lezlie Dana’s direction and coaching, either through Downstage Studio’s Teen Improv class, private sessions, or through area school programs. The teen students attend Saratoga High, Saratoga Central Catholic, Saratoga Waldorf, and Adirondack Community College, as well as homeschool.
