Hosted by Andy from England, this virtual support group helps expand connection and support to patients across Europe and nearby time zones. Andy shares that one of his biggest battles after developing pericarditis was fighting himself, and these sessions will place a strong focus on the psychological and mental health aspects of living with the condition. Participants are invited into an open, supportive conversation around mindset, coping strategies, emotional well-being, and shared experiences.

Finding community with people who truly understand can make all the difference.

“I just attended my first Shares From The Collective Support Group a couple weeks ago after suffering from Incessant Constrictive Pericarditis for 18 months. It was an emotional experience to meet other people for the first time who truly understood and were going through similar challenges. It was amazing to listen to and be heard myself. I was also surprised to get some solid advice on research and resources I was unaware of despite being vigilant in research myself. I will definitely make this a regular part of my life.”

This virtual support group is designed to bring much-needed connection to younger patients navigating pericarditis during a time when many are still shaping careers, relationships, and life goals. Pericarditis Under 30 creates a supportive space for patients under 30 and their caregivers to share experiences, talk through challenges, and connect with others who understand what it’s like to face this diagnosis at a younger age.
