New Orleans Rowing Club

New Orleans Rowing Club The New Orleans Rowing Club is a community rowing club that rows on the beautiful Bayou St. John. As of 2015, NORC is located at the Frederick J.

Formed in 1987, the New Orleans Rowing Club is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization run solely by volunteers. NORC offers novice, club, junior and masters programs in sweep rowing and sculling. King Boathouse on Bayou St. John, at the Vistas Shores Assisted Living Center grounds.

🚣 💙💛 Youth SE Regionals saw three top-10 finishes for our club this year in the Mens Youth 4+, Womens Youth 1x and Womens U17 2x. We entered our first-ever eight, and had

↗️ For a third of the team, it was their first time to the Regional Championship, and we were glad to get them down the course in preparation for next year.

🤗 For another third, they are Seniors and we say farewell as we watch them begin their next journey later this summer.

👏 Thanks to the parents for making it happen on Mothers Day weekend, from dealing with airlines closing down to managing food and transport, it takes a village.
