We are pleased to announce the winners of our annual beach flag competition, which took place during our yearly team pictures.

Our fastest male and female champions, Luca and Keilah Capriola, emerged victorious after competing against 12 of our top lifeguards.

Congratulations to both winners on their impressive achievements.

High HeatRisk 🔥

Widespread major heat risk is currently forecast today through Friday. A higher HeatRisk means there is a greater chance of heat-related illness among much of the population, especially those without effective cooling or hydration.

What to do:
- Drink plenty of water
- Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing
- Avoid outdoor activities during the warmest parts of the day
- Stay in an air conditioned location, especially during the day

Saftey Tip Saturday:

Walk small children to the lifeguard stand and instruct them to go to the stand whenever they are lost. Bring a unique flag or umbrella for children to use as a landmark. Special needs children should be introduced to the lifeguards. When you arrive at the beach, for added safety, take a cell phone picture of your child’s beach attire.
