Last week our pack 50 Cub Scouts got together with Troop 50 Boy Scouts to welcome in the new 2025-2026 year of Scouts!
We had a meeting, followed by an ice cream social and soccer. Everyone had a lot of fun!
It’s important to feel a part of a community, and that’s one of the things that’s so great about this organization. And what’s even better is the friendships we make, both for the children and the parents.

Hi, my name is Yelizaveta and I am ✨super✨ excited to be a new admin here for the Pack 50 FB group.
I’ll be posting some good memories we’ve had together as a pack, as I have recently realized they haven’t been shared with the FB group.
I was just thinking about how fascinated we all were when the Deputies with the Sarasota Bomb Squad came to show us their bomb robot! The Scouts even got to operate it.
That’s me on the end, pretending to be frightened by the robot. (Was I really pretending though?😜)
The kids had a blast asking the Sheriff Deputies all sorts of cool science questions.
It was fun and it was educational! The perfect combination for young minds. ✨

Pack 50 currently meets at Pineshores Community Center at 6210 Crestwood Ave., Sarasota every Monday from 6-730 pm. Cub Scouts is for boys and girls ages 5-11. If you’re interested in joining Cub Scouts, you’re welcome to come by Hope to see you next Monday, Aug. 18th!

Southwest Florida Council Spooktacular in Oct
Climbing at Treeumph in Jan
Kayaking at Silver Springs in Feb.
AOLs (5th graders) attended Camporee in Mar
Swimming at Sebastien Inlet in Apr
Swimming and Snorkeling in Key Largo in May
