Just a couple of photos (for now) of our students at Christian Youth In Action Training this year. We had a great week of competition, theme days, but most importantly, equipping our teens to share the Gospel for the rest of the summer, and hopefully, for the rest of their lives.

"But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." -Phil. 3:13-14

As our theme this year was 'Eyes on the Prize', we know that in the end we will receive the greatest prize possible. And now our students have the privilege to be included in God's plan for sharing that prize with others. That's a wrap on CYIA 2026!

CYIA is going great so far; always good to get together with students and staff from all over the state of Florida working together for a common purpose of sharing the Good News with children this summer!

Christian Youth In Action training is underway in CEF of Florida! We’d love to tell you that this is a picture of our students sharing the Gospel (which will happen all week), but it’s actually just a photo of one of our very own Manasota students hyping up the crowd as he leads his team for the week. Neville brought the fire to kick things off!

More than 50 students were trained yesterday to share The Gospel this summer with children in our community. We didn’t get the clearest photos or picture-perfect expressions, but we did get the chance to train and equip young Christians for ministry. Incredibly, well over half the group are former Good News Club students themselves! This is Christian Youth In Action, moving from evangelism to discipleship and training, so that even more evangelism can take place.

Very thankful for our teens who helped teach yesterday, for those who will teach all summer long, and the Tabernacle Church for providing the space to train these summer missionaries!

Had a first this past weekend. We are always thankful to get the share the ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship in our local churches, but this past Sunday at Living Hope Church we had an opportunity to not only share the ministry, but actually show the ministry during the service as kids were invited down to the front for a memory verse teaching. Grateful a local church like Living Hope excited about reaching the next generation!

Our friends south of us are looking to grow in Lee County! If you know of anyone in that area looking for a ministry position with a great organization (we’re a little biased), get them connected!

The last batch! We are so thankful for the more than 300 people who donated to CEF and helped us not only meet, but go beyond our goal! A total of $88,000 was donated through the challenge or offline, and with the additional matching funds, our total raised is just over $115,000! Our deepest gratitude goes to The Community Foundation of Sarasota County and The Patterson Foundation for making the Giving Challenge possible.
