🇺🇸 Commander's Corner 🇺🇸
Today, I want to take a moment to recognize four outstanding members of our Post family who continue to go above and beyond. Each of these individuals was recently presented with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of the time, hard work, and dedication they give to American Legion Post 312.
👏 Tony Wofford
For many years, Tony has faithfully handled ticket sales every Monday night during Queen of Hearts. Week after week, he volunteers his time, shows up for our Post, and never asks for anything in return. His consistency and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for everything he does.
👏 Tonya Gerrish
Tonya is always available and willing to step up wherever she is needed. Whether she is helping with Auxiliary events, working in the kitchen, selling tickets, or taking on whatever else gets thrown her way, she does it without hesitation. Her willingness to jump in and lend a hand is a tremendous asset to our Post.
👏 Terri Byland Ijamal
As a dedicated Auxiliary member, Terri has spent countless hours in our kitchen helping make events and meals possible. Her support goes far beyond the Auxiliary. She has stepped up time and time again to help the Legionnaires, Riders, and S.A.L. whenever an extra set of hands is needed in the kitchen. Her hard work and willingness to serve are greatly appreciated.
👏 Amber Elsenheimer
Amber puts in countless hours behind the scenes each and every day helping keep our Post connected, informed, and promoted. She manages all three of our social media pages and assists the Auxiliary, Legionnaires, Riders, and S.A.L. by designing and producing marketing materials throughout the Post. From flyers and event promotions to ticket sales and whatever else needs to get done, Amber is always willing to help make it happen.
Volunteers are the backbone of organizations like ours. So much of what happens at Post 312 would not be possible without people who are willing to give their time and talents simply because they care about this Post and the people in it.
Please join me in congratulating Tony, Tonya, Terri, and Amber on receiving their Certificates of Appreciation and thanking them for everything they continue to do for American Legion Post 312.
