Knights of Columbus is a global service organization, and the largest Catholic fraternal group in the world. Since its founding in 1882 in New Haven, Connecticut, the organization has provided charity in the community, support for the faith of its members

, and financial security to members and their families through its highly rated financial products and services. Local councils such as Our Lady of Victory 3358 in Sarasota, FL are the basic unit of the Knights. Most are based in parishes, though some (such as ours) have their own council hall within the community. Each local council works to assist with the needs of its community consistent with the principles of the Order.

Advent invites us to pause, to open our hearts, and to live each moment alert to God’s quiet presence. Christ is coming, not only at the end of time, but into our hearts here and now.

🙏 Lord, awaken our hearts this Advent. Help us to live each day in Your grace, ready to welcome You whenever You come.
