Be part of the Suncoast Summer Fest! The Suncoast Summer Fest is scheduled for June 24 - July 4 with numerus events taking place around Sarasota County.

Some of the events include the Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix, the longest continually run boat race in the country, Kickoff Party, Boat Fun Run, Motorcycle Poker Chip Run, and more! Proceeds from the events benefit Suncoast Charities for Children.

Registration is open, but limited, for the 4th Annual Heritage Cares Charity Golf Scramble on Sunday, November 22, 2026 at TPC Prestancia. Enjoy a great day on this prestigious course while helping make a meaningful impact in our community.

Funds raised throughout the Heritage Cares Weekend of Giving will benefit both Suncoast Charities for Children and the Heritage Cares Foundation. The weekend kicks off with the Heritage Cares Charity W**e Tasting on Friday, November 20 from 5–8 PM, followed by the Heritage Cares Charity Racquet Festival on Saturday, November 21 from 9 AM–12 PM at TPC Prestancia Sports Club, featuring tennis and pickleball.

Throughout the month of September, the 1905 Family Of Restaurants is giving diners an easy way to support local nonprofits — and we’re proud to encourage our friends and community to cast their vote for Suncoast Charities for Children!

Simply dine in or order takeout at a participating 1905 Family Of Restaurants location, including Columbia Restaurant at St. Armands Circle and Cha Cha Coconuts, and when you receive your Community Harvest ballot, select Suncoast Charities for Children. Suncoast Charities for Children mourns the sudden loss of Chuck Carroll, who volunteered a tremendous amount of time photographing multiple events for our charity over the years.

Most notably, Chuck generously dedicated a full ten days to photographing the Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix Festival for many years. He had such a big heart when it came to volunteering his time to support multiple charities and sharing his outstanding talent as a photographer.

Chuck’s kindness, generosity, and passion for helping others touched so many lives, and we are incredibly grateful for the time and talent he shared with Suncoast Charities for Children.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Chuck’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Chuck, and thank you for all the lives you touched. You will be deeply missed.
