At Canines for Heroes, we believe no hero should fight life’s battles alone.

Right now, we have two extraordinary individuals waiting for life-changing service dogs:

❤️ A 100% disabled Veteran and young mother living with severe hearing loss who needs a trained service dog to help her safely navigate daily life and care for her family.

💙 A 100% deaf individual who is eager for the independence and confidence that only a properly trained hearing service dog can provide.

Service dogs are not just companions.
They are lifelines—alerting to alarms, assisting with safety, providing independence, and restoring dignity.

But training these dogs requires resources.

🐕‍🦺 Board & Train Cost per Dog: $3,800
🐕‍🦺 Two Dogs Needed: $7,600 total

At Canines for Heroes, we operate on a no-salary, all-impact model, meaning every dollar goes directly toward training and placing service dogs with those who need them most.

🐾 A Hero Needs His Dog Back — Let’s Do This Together

Ryan served our country for three tours — the last two as a Bomb Dog Handler. He and his K9 partner saved lives most of us will never know about.

After 18 faithful years together, his k9 partner crossed over into doggie heaven… and Ryan has been living with nonstop ringing in his ears (Tinnitus) from explosions and flight-line noise ever since.

But now?
He’s finally ready for his next partner — a highly trained Medical Alert Dog who will “watch his 6,” provide calm, and walk every acre of his Florida property right by his side.

We need to raise $22,000 to make this happen.

Meet Michael, a Sarasota veteran who served with pride maintaining F-18 fighter jets. The engines’ deafening roar left him with severe hearing loss—and the quiet that followed was filled with anxiety, isolation, and sleepless nights.

After a difficult divorce, Michael’s world became even smaller. But his loyal dog, Bella, became his light in the dark. She’s gentle, smart, and devoted—but she’s not trained yet. When she gets excited or startled, she pulls him off balance, making public outings stressful and even dangerous.

Proper training turns a loving pet into a lifeline for veterans battling PTSD and hearing impairments.
