Our last FLAM Workshop of the 25–26 cohort!! 🥲🎉

For our last workshop, we focused on having fun with group games and friendly competition. We promoted group integration, youth leadership, and creative expression through games and collaborative activities that strengthened communication and a sense of belonging. Students enjoyed hopscotch, puzzles, jump rope, shoot-the-cones challenges, and relay-style games while celebrating the friendships, growth, and memories built throughout the year.

We are so happy our students had a good time with us this year and wish all of them a wonderful, happy summer and beyond!

Special thanks to our partner, , for helping us set up all of these activities. We would also like to thank the Roberta Leventhal Sudakoff Foundation for their generous support of our FLAM program throughout the year. Thanks to their support, our 40 students had the opportunity to explore different career pathways, participate in enriching educational experiences, and continue developing leadership and life skills for their future success.

¡¡Nuestro último taller de la promoción 2025-2026 d! FLAM! 🥲🎉

En nuestro último taller, nos centramos en divertirnos con dinámicas de trabajo en equipo y circuitos de retos. Fomentamos la integración grupal, el liderazgo juvenil y la expresión creativa a través de juegos y actividades colaborativas que reforzaron la comunicación y el sentido de pertenencia. Los estudiantes disfrutaron de la rayuela, rompecabezas, saltar la cuerda, y desafíos de lanzar a los conos y relays, mientras celebraban las amistades, el crecimiento y los recuerdos construidos a lo largo del año.

¡Estamos muy felices de que nuestros estudiantes la hayan pasado bien con nosotros este año y les deseamos a todos un verano maravilloso y mucho más!

Un agradecimiento especial a nuestra socia, , por ayudarnos a organizar todas estas actividades. También queremos agradecer a la Fundación Roberta Leventhal Sudakoff por su generoso apoyo a nuestro programa FLAM a lo largo del año. Gracias a su apoyo, nuestros 40 estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de explorar diferentes trayectorias profesionales, participar en experiencias educativas enriquecedoras y seguir desarrollando habilidades de liderazgo y para la vida que les ayudarán a alcanzar el éxito en el futuro.

Last week, we celebrated our future leaders through the Future Leaders Academy (FLA)! 💙

FLA is a rigorous year-round program dedicated to increasing college and career attainment for first-generation Latino students and their families in Sarasota and Manatee counties. From ACT/SAT prep and scholarship support to college tours, leadership development, and community service, these students are building their version of the American dream.

We are so proud of all they have accomplished and can’t wait to see the impact they make in our communities. 🌟🎓
