Merry Christmas from all of us at Thanks for Giving Trees! 🎄✨
We have so much to be thankful for this holiday season. From me, from our board of directors, and from all the families, friends, volunteers, and supporters, we just want to share our deepest gratitude.
A huge thank you to the Observer and Ian Swaby by for the wonderful article that came out today, shining a light on why we do what we do. And in case you missed it, we also shared a fantastic video from Hale Law - Accident Attorneys yesterday that truly captures the spirit of our mission.
We are so grateful to each and every one of you for being part of this journey. Wishing you all a holiday season full of love, warmth, and a whole lot of giving spirit!

This initiative started with my brother Joshua’s heart — simply wanting families to feel loved, seen, and supported during the holidays. To see our community continue to show up year after year, and to have partners like Hale Law take the time to tell that story, truly means more than words can say.
Thank you to the entire Hale Law team for your generosity, your creativity, and for believing in this mission. Because of partners like you, families in our community will have Christmas trees, warmth, and a little extra joy this season. 🎄🤍

✨🌲 Just wrapping up an incredible Thanks For Giving Trees 2025!
We’re beyond grateful to our amazing donors, volunteers, and corporate sponsors like NextHome Excellence, Bayside Community Church- Esc, Hale Law - Accident Attorneys, Miccosukee Tribe, American Legion Post #30, Cool Today, Hannah’s Home Solutions, and so many more. 🙏💚

We had 16 trees left over, and on Miracle Night, every single one found a home. 🎄✨

This whole journey started with Josh back in 2016, when he gave away the very first tree. Before he passed in 2020, he had already given away over 200 trees. And with the 800+ trees we’ve given away since then, together we have now shared over 1,000 Christmas trees with families in our community. 🌟💖

Thank you to all our gracious donors, media partners, supporters, volunteers, friends, and the families who received trees. Your kindness is what keeps Josh’s memory and this tradition alive. ❤️🙏

And if you want to keep the spirit going, join us at the Downtown Sarasota Farmers Market on December 20th! We’ll be the featured nonprofit and would love to see you there. 🎪💫

🌟 Well, it’s official—I’m feeling like the tree lady in full Mrs. Claus mode, and my heart is absolutely overflowing. This weekend was pure magic. We’ve given out a total of 1,027 trees since we started, with 220 just this year in honor of my brother Josh.
