The Newtown Nation Inc. Newtown Nation is a community organization. Change begins with a conversation. Newtown is one of Sarasota's oldest African American neighborhoods.

Our focus is to help make Newtown a productive place to live and to enhance the overall quality of life for the community. Newtown Nation is a diverse group of concerned citizens dedicated to creating solutions for a healthier, happier and safer community through cooperation and education. Yet, according to the 2020 Census data, the population of North Sarasota, including Newtown, is 32 percent below the poverty level. By supporting Newtown Nation, you help empower the community, preserve its history, and improve Newtown residents' quality of life. Please donate today at https://mtyc.co/opbhif, and together, with your support, we can bring equity into one of the highest density, low-income areas within Sarasota County.
