Our hearts are full after hosting One Stop Cares’ very first Mission Match! 💙💚

Twenty-one passionate community partners came together to connect, collaborate, and discover new ways to better serve our community. The energy in the room was incredible, and we loved watching new relationships and opportunities come to life! (We will tag the Community Partners in the comments!)

A special thank-you to Goodwill Manasota for generously hosting us, and to Anna Maria Oyster Bar for providing the delicious light bites and refreshments.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make our first Mission Match such a success. This is only the beginning—we cannot wait for the next one! 🤝✨

Dear Friends,

Thank you for participating in this year’s and for your generous support of One Stop Housing Cares.

Because of you, someone is still in their home tonight. Because of you, a moment of fear and uncertainty was met with stability, compassion, and support. You didn’t just give—you stepped in at the exact moment someone needed it most.

Your generosity has restored dignity, reignited hope, and reminded people in our community that they are not alone. In a time when one small obstacle can change everything, you became the reason it didn’t.

You made this possible. đź’™

You didn’t just make an impact—you changed the course of someone’s life. You gave them breathing room, a second chance, and the strength to keep going forward.

We are deeply, truly grateful. Your kindness is felt in every home that remains whole because of you. đź’™

No Gift Is Too Small to Make Double the Impact!

We are in the FINAL push, and the need is real.

For so many people, homelessness does not begin with one big moment. It begins with one obstacle that they cannot overcome alone.

Your gift today can step in before that breaking point. It can protect a home, preserve dignity, and remind someone they are not alone.

Please donate now. These final moments matter.

Because of you, someone is going to sleep tonight without fear. Because of you, a family didn’t lose their home when they felt like they were running out of options.

Your donation wasn’t just a kind gesture—it was a lifeline at the exact moment it was needed most. You stepped in before the crisis, before the eviction, before everything could fall apart… and you changed that outcome.

You didn’t just give. You prevented homelessness.

There are no words big enough to express what that means fully—but please know this: because of you, someone is still home. Thank you!

It started with a vision.

Harvey Vengroff believed that everyone deserves a clean, safe, and affordable place to call home. But today… that vision has become something more. It has become our responsibility.

At One Stop Cares, we don’t just provide support, we step in before everything falls apart.
Before a notice is posted.
Before a family runs out of options.
Before someone loses their home.

Because keeping people housed… is how we prevent homelessness.

Every life we stabilize is a continuation of that vision.
Every family that stays in their home is proof that it lives on.

đź•› Today at noon, the Giving Challenge begins.
đź’Ą Every dollar you give will be DOUBLED.

This is your moment to be part of something bigger than a donation.

Because of you…
a door stays open.
a light stays on.
a family stays home.

Help us carry this vision forward. đź’™

APRIL 15-16 👉 givingchallenge.org/organizations/one-stop-housing-cares-inc

At One Stop Cares, our mission is clear—preventing homelessness before it starts.

But our impact doesn’t stop there. Every year, we intentionally create moments that bring hope, dignity, and community to the people we serve.

Through events like our Thanksgiving Give Back, where hundreds of meals are shared with families, and our annual Toy Drive, where children experience the joy of the holidays—they are more than just events.

They are reminders that people are seen, supported, and not alone.

Because preventing homelessness isn’t just about keeping a roof overhead…
It’s about creating stability, restoring hope, and building a sense of belonging.

That is intentional impact. That is One Stop Cares.
And because of you… it happens every single year. ❤️
